This Sunday, enjoy a relaxing enthralling sail along the Manchester Ship Canal, Bridgewater Canal and River Irwell from Castlefield to Salford Quays and back. This 3-hour canal trip includes an engrossing historic commentary about the days of docks and dockers, ships and sailing vessels, and the Manchester port. And because it’s Christmas there’ll be mulled wine and mince pies.

The Irn Bru Carnival starts this Friday in Glasgow and is Europe's largest indoor funfair with over 60 rides and attractions! Suitable for all ages, there are new rides for thrill seekers, families and kids. There will also be a variety of game stalls to test your luck.

Don’t miss the Santa Express Train this weekend! Cattle Country Adventure Park is recreating a magical world this Christmas based on The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Visitors will board the miniature train and ride to Santa’s grotto. They will also be able to step through the wardrobe and be transformed into Narnia to see the Lamp Post, Mr Tumnus the fawn, the Beavers and Aslan the Lion. Children can then make their way through the park, take an adventure on the ice skating rink and play barn before visiting the festive grotto. Prebook via the website.
